After brunch, we did a formal Easter picture...but this one was cuter!

Barrow and Cate also enjoyed making movies together over the break. They were very creative!
Barrow also enjoyed hanging out with friends before heading back to school. One day they practiced skateboarding at the skateboard park.
Barrow worked really well with his team, and was disappointed that they did not win!
Back at home, Barrow joined his classmates in the Battle of the Books state competition.
After returning home, we celebrated dad's 46th birthday!
We had a great vacation!

We also learned about the history of skiing in Park City, as well as the training of Olympic athletes.
We learned about the 2002 Olympic games that were hosted in Salt Lake City.
We took a day off and toured the Olympic Park.
We skied together in the morning, then separated in the afternoon, and met up at the hot tub after the lifts closed.
We enjoyed a large breakfast each morning, the took breaks during the day to snack and rest.
It was great to ski on the powdery snow, in spring weather!
The next day, we boarded the Red Pine Gondola and headed up the mountain to ski!
We stayed in a room overlooking the village below.  We were very close to the ski lift.
Spring Break 2014!  We drove to Albuquerque then flew to Salt Lake City. From Salt Lake City, we drove to Park City, where we stayed at the Canyons Resort. The first night we ran into friends from Houston, the Hampton family. We enjoyed a delicious Italian meal, then walked along the streets of downtown.
