Awards night at Scouts. After working hard since he joined the troop in January, Barrow earned the following awards:

Barrow enjoyed trying out his new World Cup Soccer ball!
Barrow played the role of Calvin Graham at the NM Farm and Ranch Museum ice cream social. Calvin was a 12 year old in 1942 and pretended he was 17 years old so that he could join the Navy.

Barrow placed 2nd in forms, and 1st in board breaking and creative forms!
Barrow competed at the Mayor's cup in Carlsbad. He participated in board breaking, forms and creative forms.

Another view from the pass!
They had some fun activities in downtown Red River, including mini-cars that you could rent!
After camp, we spent a few nights in Red River with our friends, the Pollards. We hiked down the Rio Grande Gorge and found some hot springs by the river.
Barrow had a fabulous week at scout camp and moved to the rank of 1st class scout!
